Legal & consent

The terms, in plain language.

This page covers how you may use Call Support, how we handle your data, and the consent rules you are responsible for. We have written it to be read, not skimmed past. It is a summary of our practices, not a substitute for legal advice.

Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Call Support, you agree to these terms. Call Support is a preparation and coaching tool: a Windows desktop client that captures audio you choose to feed it, plus this web console for your account, candidate profile, wallet, and sessions. You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live, and you are responsible for everything that happens under your account, including keeping your credentials secure.

Copilot time is paid for with prepaid credits, topped up with cryptocurrency through our payments provider. There are no subscriptions; usage debits your wallet in real time and stops when it reaches zero. Because credits are consumed as a live service, purchased credits are generally non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. You may not resell, share, or transfer your account or credits.

We may update the product and these terms as it evolves; when we make material changes we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use Call Support after a change means you accept the revised terms. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms or the acceptable-use rules below. The service is provided on an “as available” basis, as described in the disclaimer.

02

Privacy

We collect what we need to run the product and nothing we would be uncomfortable explaining to you. That means your account details (name, email), the candidate profile you choose to provide (background, resume, STAR stories, job descriptions), and operational data such as session metadata, device pairings, wallet balance, and payment records.

To transcribe audio, the desktop client streams it directly to our managed speech-to-text service using short-lived access tokens, and the transcript is sent to the model that generates your talking points and answers. These providers process audio on our behalf to return a result; we do not sell your data, and we do not use your interviews to train shared models. Transcripts themselves are not retained unless you turn retention on (see Data Retention).

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, and we keep it only as long as your account is active or as needed to meet legal and billing obligations. You can access, export, or delete your profile data from the console, or by emailing support@job-offer.app.

03

Acceptable Use

Call Support is built for honest preparation and coaching. You agree to use it lawfully and in good faith, and specifically:

  • Only capture or transcribe a conversation you have the right to — including obtaining any consent required from the other participants (see below).
  • Do not use the product to break the law, impersonate someone else, or misrepresent your identity or credentials.
  • Respect the rules of any interview, exam, or platform you take part in; do not use Call Support where its use is prohibited by a binding agreement or applicable law.
  • Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or resell the service, or use it to harm, harass, or deceive others.

The capture-exclusion feature exists to protect your privacy during legitimate, consented use — not to help anyone conceal conduct that is unlawful or that violates someone else’s rights. Misuse can lead to suspension or closure of your account.

05

Data Retention

Transcript retention is off by default. Out of the box, the copilot processes audio to produce your live talking points and answers, and does not store the transcript of what was said. If you never turn retention on, there is no saved transcript to worry about.

If you choose to turn retention on — for example, to review a practice session afterward — the transcript and answers for those sessions are saved to your account, and you control them: review, export, or delete them at any time from the console. Deleting a session removes its stored transcript and answers. Account, profile, wallet, and payment records are retained while your account is active and for as long as we are legally required to keep billing records.

Closing your account deletes your candidate profile and any stored transcripts, except for records we must keep to comply with legal, tax, or fraud-prevention obligations. You can request export or deletion at any time by emailing support@job-offer.app.

Disclaimer

Call Support is a preparation and coaching tool, and the information on this page is provided for general guidance only. It is not legal advice, and it does not create a lawyer-client relationship. Consent and recording laws are nuanced and change over time. For advice about your specific situation, consult a qualified attorney in your jurisdiction.

We do not guarantee any particular interview outcome, and the copilot’s suggestions are aids for you to evaluate and adapt — not statements of fact. Speech-to-text accuracy varies with audio quality, accents, and background noise, and generated answers can be incomplete or wrong. You remain responsible for what you say and do in your interviews. The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
