The desktop client captures the room and draws the invisible overlay only you can see, while the platform handles transcription and the copilot’s answers. Install it once, pair it to your account, and you’re ready before the next call.
The invisibility guarantee leans on a Windows capture-exclusion flag, so the client asks for a recent build.
Windows 11, or Windows 10 version 2004 (build 19041) or newer.
Needs build 19041+. On older builds the overlay can show up as a black box instead of being truly excluded from capture.
System-audio loopback (WASAPI) for “Them” and a microphone for “You” — the two tracks are transcribed separately.
64-bit (x64). Runs on Arm64 devices through Windows emulation.
A stable internet connection for live transcription and copilot answers.
A Call Support account with credits, and the desktop client paired from your console.
No configuration marathon — install, pair, and press Listen.
Run the installer — a quick, self-contained setup with no admin gymnastics, and it updates itself as new builds ship. It isn’t code-signed yet, so Windows SmartScreen asks you to confirm via “More info → Run anyway”.
Open the app, sign in, and enter the pairing code from Devices in your console. That links the client to your wallet and candidate profile.
Hit Start listening before your call. The overlay stays invisible on shared screens while it feeds you points and answers in real time.
Every control is a system-wide shortcut, so you never have to click the overlay mid-answer — or hunt for it while you share your screen.
| Action | Shortcut |
|---|---|
| Show / hide the overlay | Ctrl+\ |
| Decrease / increase opacity | Ctrl+Shift+[/Ctrl+Shift+] |
| Toggle click-through | Ctrl+Shift+M |
| Start / stop listening | Ctrl+Shift+L |
| Ask now | Ctrl+Shift+Enter |
Shortcuts are rebindable in the client’s settings if any of these collide with your setup.
The whole promise is an overlay that stays out of every screen share, and today that rests on a Windows capture-exclusion flag introduced in build 19041. macOS and Linux have no dependable equivalent, so a client there could quietly appear in a shared screen — which would break the one thing that has to work. Rather than ship an overlay we can’t keep invisible, we’re Windows-only until we can guarantee the same exclusion elsewhere.
Interviewing on a Mac? Many candidates run the client on a nearby Windows laptop or a Windows VM. Want a native build? Tell us on the contact page — demand shapes the roadmap.
Call Support is for interview preparation and coaching. Recording or transcribing another person can require their consent, and the rules differ by country and state. The client surfaces a consent step, keeps transcript retention off by default, and expects you to use it honestly. You’re responsible for obtaining any consent required where you are.
